Each episode includes unique approach to upgrading character and fighting the enemies, and differences are subtle but noticeable. There are no new abilities like in the first DLC, but this time the player can upgrade the staff and with is specific abilities to be much more powerful than initially designed. This time, Alexios or Kassandra will leave the Ancient Greece and take on the mythical gods on their own turf, from lush fields of Elysium to dark and gloomy Underworld, and finally the legendary city of Atlantis. Unlike Legacy of the First Blade, this DLC adds completely new regions, one region per episode.
